From grassroots beginnings driven by passionate communities, NSW Ultimate (NSWU) has evolved into the peak State Sporting Organisation for Flying Disc sports within New South Wales.
As a proud Member Organisation affiliate of the Australian Flying Disc Association (AFDA), we provide the governance, insurance, and administrative framework that keeps our community sporting network safe, organised, and formally recognised.
Our purpose is to inspire everyone to be part of and build the Ultimate community.
Today, with participants enjoying flying disc sports at all levels of performance across cities, university campuses, and regional towns in all corners of New South Wales, our sport continues to expand both on and off the field. While our day-to-day operations focus heavily on growing the fast-paced team sport of Ultimate, we provide overarching coverage for all flying disc disciplines across NSW.
To support this growth, NSW Ultimate conducts and oversees a premier calendar of events catering to a wide variety of skill levels and ages. From local social twilight leagues and youth school gala days to our major state tournaments, we ensure there are consistent, high quality opportunities for players to step onto the field year round.
History shows that New South Wales is a powerhouse state for disc sports, consistently producing exceptional athletes, coaches, and support staff who represent our region with distinction on the National and International stage.
Crucially, this competitive success is anchored by Spirit of the Game, a defining tradition where players self referee with mutual respect, integrity, and open communication, proving that elite athleticism and high level sportsmanship can go hand in hand.
